This is the second in the Born for This Collection. It is incredibly well written as is the first book, Please, Sir. It is well connected to the first book, but does not rely on the characters or situations in it. They can truly be read as stand alones and I appreciate that.
Tie the Knot shows a new side of the BDSM community while at the same time showing how Kara heals from the aftermath of a bad relationship. Kara is trying to put her life back together and deal with the anxiety and left over fear that her former relationship left her with. She wants to put her life back on track and find a way to be in a new relationship. That is always hard but in this case, with Kara's preferred BDSM relationship, it's even harder. Heath is just the man to help her out. He understands her and takes the time to take work with her and help move her to a new phase in her life.
This is definitely not like other popular BDSM stories in that this is not predominately a story about learning the life or the sex itself. While there are plenty of steamy scenes (woohoo!) it is also a beautiful story in which Kara learns to trust again. I really cannot say enough about the writing and the way that the characters interact. It's a great read!
